New Years Resolutions 2015

Hi! So I don't really do New Years Resolutions. Instead I make some goals for the New Year that I try to follow.

1) Stop procrastinating with studying for school and actually study for tests. I am the biggest procrastinator when it comes to studying and most of the time don't even study. This semester I am going to start studying for tests.

2) Start going to church more, at least once a month. I went to a youth group once a week for 2 years and then stopped. I would like to restart going and make it part of my routine now.

3) Go to bed before 10pm on school nights and stop staying up super late. I'll be honest, I am a night owl. I have a bad habit of staying up late and then being really tired. I would like to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier (maybe even become a morning person).

4) Redo my room and totally clean it out, including my closet. I recently painted a wall in my room and would like to redo it. I need to take everything out and donate some stuff and reorganize my room (weirdly organizing helps calm me down).

5) Learn ASL (American Sign Language). I already know some, but I would like to be able to speak fluently with sign language. I got inspired to relearn it from Switched at Birth, where one of the girls is deaf.

6) Learn/ start doing more yoga and exercising at least 5 days a week. I have a yoga mat and am fit, but I would like to get some muscle and yoga just looks fun. When I exercise I fell soo good and refreshed after and I think I need that now.

WHAT ARE YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS/ GOALS?

Eyes~Lips~Face

Elf Haul

Hi! So I recently ordered some makeup from Elf (eyeslipsface) when they had a good sale. With their already cheap prices, I could not pass up the deal and there had been some products I had been looking at too.

Essential Nail Polish- This is a nail polish and is in the shade smoky brown.

Studio HD Mattifying Balm- This is a clear, mattifying face cream. It comes in a compact with a mirror and face sponge. I am not sure if this is a primer or mattifyer, but I was curious to try this product out with my oily skin. I tried this a couple of times and after 4 times it started leaving little white things on my face.

Essential 13 Piece Face & Lip Palette- I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom. This comes with 4 shimmery cheek colors and 2 mini brushes. Also, there are 9 red/pink sheer lip colors. This is a palette and comes with a mirror on the roof of the palette.

Studio Endless Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Palette- This is a limited edition monster palette with a mini mirror on the top. It comes with tons of colors (from fun colors to neutral colors). The quality of these eyeshadows is not the best, but most of these are colors I'm not going to wear on a daily basis.

Studio Eyebrow Kit- This comes in a compact with a mini double ended brush. I got this is the shade medium and it comes with a light brown powder and a darker brown gel powder.

Studio Moisturizing Lipstick- This is a lipstick that did not feel dry or sticky when I tried it on. The color is kinda sheer, which I like. I got this in the shade pink minx, it is a light pinky shade. I really like the packaging for this product, it looks really sleek and nice.

Studio 50 Piece Makeup Artist Palette- This is a palette with 10 cheek colors (most are kinda more shimmery/ bright than I hoped). It also comes with lots of eyeshadow. The colors are blue to purple to neutral colors.

Kabuki Brush- I got this for free with the order. It is a mini kabuki brush and it is SUPER soft. Although, the brushes are kinda to long and there are to many I really like this brush.

Those are all the things I bought from ELF. I hoped you liked this post and comment any requests/ thoughts down below.

Ipsy Unboxing- December 2014

Ipsy Unboxing

Hi! Today I have my Ipsy beauty box unboxing/ review for the month of December. This may be a little late, but I just got my box 2 days ago. This is a monthly beauty box subscription that costs $10 per month. Each month you receive 4-5 full size or deluxe sized products. This is my favorite beauty box subscription service.

Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush- This is a double ended eyeshadow brush and I love getting brushes in Ipsy. The brush is really soft and kinda stiff. One end is a pointed crease brush and the other end is a wide lid brush.
Price- I could not find one (I will guess $10)

NYX Cosmetics Butter Lip Balm- This is a bright pink chapstick. The color can be really sheer, or layered to look like a lipstick. I like this product because it moisturizes my lips while giving them a little color.                                   Price- $4

Pixi Fairy Dust- This is a powder eyeshadow. There is an applicator in the powder that you are supposed to use to apply the eyeshadow. The color is a pretty rosy color, but when you put the eyeshadow on there is a lot of fallout because it is just a straight powder eyeshadow.       Price- $10

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara- I actually already own this mascara andlove it. So I will probably use this when I travel or just use it when my mascara runs out.                                         Price- $20

Beauty Without Cruelty A.H.A. 3% Facial Cleanser- This is a facewash that is for normal to oily skin. I personally am not a big fan of getting skin care stuff in my bag. I have a skincare routine already.             Price- $12

Overall price of bag- $56 (I only paid $10)

So overall this bag is pretty good. I am excited to try the makeup brush, Chapstick, and see how the eyeshadow works. Thanks for reading and comment what you got in your Ipsy bag or if you don't receive Ipsy what you would like in one.

Walmart Winter Beauty Box Unboxing-2014

Hi! So today I have an unboxing/ review on the Walmart Beauty Box. This box is $5 and they come out with a new one each season. Apparently the samples are free and all you have to pay for is the shipping. This is a nice box because it is cheap and all the products are cheap and sold at Walmart. I got 4 real samples and 3 foil packet samples. Let me know if you got this box in the comments down below.

Covergirl Lip Gloss- This is a lip gloss that is a little sticky and is pretty sheer (but very buildable). The shade is
640 colorlicious juicy fruit and is a berry everyday kind of color.

Burt's Bee Face Wipes- These are some face wipes (which I love getting). These little samples are great for traveling or just trying out new face wipes. There are 10 wipes and they are supposed to remove makeup and oil without actually washing your face (aka for the lazy girls).

Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash- This is a body wash and is supposed to moisturize your skin. It has a light fruity, sweet scent, which I think is good. So I am excited to try this and see if it does moisturize my skin.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Face Lotion- This is a sheer daily face moisturizer and is supposed to feel like a powder once dry. I am excited to try this because my face has been getting really dry lately, I just wish it had SPF in it.

L'oreal Color Vibrancy Shampoo, Conditioner, and Anti-Oxidant- So this a foil packet (booo) of a shampoo, conditioner, and anti-oxidant for color treated hair. I already have this sample from something else and I don't have color treated hair.

John Frieda Volume Shampoo and Conditioner- This is another foil packet. It is just a shampoo and conditioner that are supposed to give your hair more volume.

Flower Fragrance Samples- I don't really like this. It is a sample of 3 perfumes, but the perfumes are just on the paper for you to smell.

So that is everything I got in my Walmart Beauty Box. I enjoy this box because you get quite a few products for only $5! I personally would not pay over $5 for this box because like half of the samples are foil packets and the samples are not the most exciting. overall, I would recommend this cheap box to one of my friends.

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Gel

Maybelline Brow Gel- Review

This is a tinted brown gel that is supposed to give your brows shape and color.

It took me a couple of tries to understand how this product worked. You have to run the brush the opposite way your brow hair grows to give it color. Then you run the brush the way your hair grows to groom them and apply the gel to them.

The gel gives your brows color, but if you want bold brows then I would use a powder or pencil too.

The brush is unlike any brush I have ever seen for brows. It is a normal brush with a ball at the end. Also, the gel holds my brows in place most of the time. Without brow gel my brows will be shaped nicely and in place, but in an hour they will be all crazy. I have to use a strong gel to keep my brows in place, so if your brows are easily tamed this would work really good for you.

PRICE: $8

Overall, I have mixed feelings about this product. I am not sure I would repurchase it, even though it is a dupe for Benefit's Gimme Brow. Hopefully you liked this post and if there is anything you want me to review comment below. Thanks.
