Little Black Dress OOTD

Hello! So here is another OOTD post, but more importantly, I have some exciting news to share at the end. 

This is a classic LBD (little black dress) look that would be perfect for a holiday party you. In fact, I think that I am going to wear this dress on Christmas. 

This dress is super comfy and goes to about the middle of my thigh. I love how this dress is fitted, yet still pretty loose. I live where there is no snow and it is not that cold (the winter weather has just started!), so this outfit is better if you live where it is not to cold. If you need an outfit that will keep you warmer you could easily add tights or tall boots, or a cute cartigan and scarf combo and it would be super cute. 

I added a larger silver necklace that reminds me of arrows or a mini chevron pattern. For shoes I kept it simple and just threw on a pair of black converse. I also added a light pink, string bracelet that had a white rock in the middle and painted my nails maroon.

Alrighty, time for the exciting news I promised. [drumroll please haha]

My new blog is still going to mainly focus on fashion, shopping, reviews, and my life in general. Unboxing~ Walmart Beauty Box

Hi! So today I have an unboxing/ review on the Walmart Beauty Box. This box is $5 and they come out with a new one each season. Apparently the samples are free and all you have to pay for is the shipping. This is a nice box because it is super cheap and all the products are inexpensive and sold at Walmart. I got 5 real samples and 2 foil packet samples. Let me know if you got this box in the comments down below. 

The first thing I got are these Simple face wipes. I have tried these makeup wipes before and liked them, so these will be perfect for traveling.

I also got the Schwarzkopf shampoo and conditioner. These are a decent size and I can probably get 2-3 uses out of each one. The shampoo smells really bad, like chemicals or old play-dough. The conditioner smells a little better, but still not the best. 

Just like last season, I got another Dove body wash. It is orange and has a light citrus scent. This body wash is the perfect size for a long weekend getaway.

The last real sample is pretty good. It is the Lady Gaga fame perfume. This perfume is unique because it is a black liquid. For once, the perfume sample does does not smell like an old lady perfume. It has a distinct smell, that is pretty good [but no vanilla], and the company describes it as a saffron like smell. 

Lastly, I got some little samples and coupons. I received the Maybelline fit me matte foundation sample and a coupon. So I never knew this was a thing and am really excited to this next product out. It is the Nivea in-shower body lotion for really dry skin.

I also got coupons for Covergirl, L'oreal, and Schwarzkopf hair products.

OOTD~ Maroon Sweater

Hi! Today I have another OOTD to give you some fashion inspiration. This is probably my last winter outfit for awhile, since it is already at least 70 degrees in California.

UGGS ~ Sweater ~ Jeans

 I am wearing this thin maroon sweater, midnight-black jeans, and chocolate UGGS. This sweater is one of my favorites because I have been into the color maroon lately, and comfy sweaters are always a plus. I have minimal jewelry on, just [fake] diamond stud earrings. 

This outfit is perfect for a cooler day. It is a great casual day transition from winter to spring.

Huge Try-On Haul

Hi! Long time no blog, but don't worry I'm back now(:

Today I have a huge collective haul from Tilly's, Sephora, Ulta, Aeropostale and more.

So let's get started: 

Tilly's is one of my favorite stores and I got the most stuff from here. I was on the hunt for some spring and summer clothes [aka shorts]. 

Speaking of shorts, I got a pair of bright aqua blue shorts [I also got these in maroon and white]. These are the perfect length not so short that my butt is hanging out [ladies that is not cute] and not down to my knees. 

Another thing thing I bought was this shirt. This one is just plain black and crochet at the top with 2 tassels hanging down.  

I guess I was feeling a Coachella vibe that day cause I bought another boho tank top. This tank top is black with string straps that tie in the center with 2 tassels. There is a cut down the center [ I know scandalous... jk] surrounded by an Aztec kind of print.

I also got 2 packs of 5 rings. One pack has metal and jeweled rings and the other has brass and pops of color on the rings. I kinda love wearing rings everyday because I feel like they complete most outfits.

 

The last thing I got was a pair of sandals. Every year I get at least new one pair of sandals, and I figured I might as well get them before they get picked over. These are super cute plain, black strappy sandals. 

I got a simple, short black cardigan from Old Navy. Basic cardigans are hard to find and I had been on the lookout for a black one for awhile now. This one stops right where your jeans start and goes with a ton of shirts. 

I also got another pair of shorts [above^] from Aeropostale. These are just your basic, plain denim shorts, which are my favorite type.

Next, I went to Target. I like Target's clothes, but never really get any from there. This time I found a plain, black maxi skirt, so I can finally get on the maxi trend (yay). 

So from Sephora I got the Tarte brow gel in the shade taupe. I decided to try this brow gel since I have some unruly brows. Let me know of any good tinted brow held in the comments below. I also got a pair of tweezers because they were on sale [and I thought I lost mine].

I am really excited for this next item. After wanting something for LUSH for so long I finally got something! I bought a bath bomb. Even though I am not the hugest bath fan, I had heard so many good things about their bath bombs [my friends had nothing bad to say] I decided to try one. I bought the Avobath bathbomb and it smells sooooo good. It is super fragrant and smells like a sweet avocado candy. 

Another beauty product I bought was the NYX bronzer from Ulta. This is a matte bronzer and it is the shade light.

American Eagle had their nail polish on clearance so I picked up 2 bottles. One color is a blue-green sparkly color and the other is a super dark purple.

Lets Go Through my Trash #1

Hi! So today I have a post where I am going to show you what products I have finished and review them. AKA Empties, or where I show you my trash. 

Dove Deodorant- I love this deodorant, it keeps me smelling good/dry all day. Even though I personally am not a huge fan of this scent. I recently have not been able to use scented deodorant because of my allergies, but if I didn't have my allergies I would buy this again.

Repurchase- Yes

Cocoa Butter Chapstick- This is my absolute favorite chapstick. I'm not even joking I have bought probably about 5+ of these. I have sensitive lips that can get really dry in the winter, but this product prevents them from cracking. This chapstick does not irritate my lips and I use this every night to help replenish my lips. 
Repurchase- Yes

EOS Everyday Hand Cream- Ok so first let me say that I cannot stand the feeling of lotion, especially on my hands. This lotion is very light and not greasy or gross feeling so I can actually wear it during the day. I just use this during the day and can stick it in my backpack to use throughout the day. The smell is a very light fresh smell, which is not my favorite but for only $2 you cannot loose. 
Repurchase- Yes

Tea Tree Face Mask- This is an acne fighting face mask that I use once a week. I really like it because it only takes 10 minutes and helps clear up my skin. Also, my skin feels nice and soft and refreshed after I use this.                     Repurchase: Yes

Daily Face Moisturizer- This used to be my daily moisturizer (I use a different one now because my skin got dry). This is a great light-weight, daily moisturizer with SPF. The only con with this is that sometimes it leaves little white things on your face (if that makes any sense lol).               Repurchase- Yes

Wonder Waves Spray- This is a spray you spray onto wet hair and it is supposed to make your hair curl more and make the curls look better/ more defined. If you have curly hair(like me) you need this product because it is a lifesaver. The one in the photo is not empty cause I accidentally threw away the bottle lol. I have curly hair and this product makes my curls structured and gives them a little more curl.

It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Product- This is probably my 3rd one of these that I have gone through. I love this product. It gets out any/all tangles, smells good, and is just wonderful (even though it is a little expensive). Here is my in-depth review on this product.

What I got for my 15th Birthday

Hi! So my birthday was January 29th, I know a week or two ago. But I figured it would be better late than never to do a What I got for my Birthday.

I turned 15 this year [I'm getting so old lol] so only one year till I get my drivers license! Can you sense the excitement? 

So here is the annoying disclaimer: I am not trying to brag in any way by this post. I am extremely grateful for everything that I received from friends and family. Birthdays [my fav holiday] are not about the gifts but about celebrating the past year of your life and another year to come with friends and family. 

So here is what I got:

I got lots of candy because I have a major sweet tooth. From chocolate, sour, chewy, to sweet I love pretty much it all. Tootsie rolls, Kit Kat [the best candy ever created] Jolly Ranchers, Sour Skittles, and Sour Patch Kids.

Okay so I never knew they had birthday cake gum, but they have every flavor of gum. This flavor was fitting for the event. I can't wait to try this new flavor of gum.

Next is a nail set. There is a pedicure set with clippers, scrubber, toes separators, etc. Also there is a gorgeous MAC nail polish, that is a sparkly green/turquoise-y color. 

So can we just talk about Dylan O'Brien for a second. I have already seen the Maze Runner a couple of times, but it is really good and I would recommend it to anyone. 

I seriously think I have bad blood circulation to my feet because they are always cold during the winter, and my friends know. And they came in this cute tin bucket that will surely become room decor.

My family has an obsession with Boston Terriers and my friends thought it would be funny to get me nail stickers of these cute pups. I also got 2 new facemasks, [I already used the other] which I was really happy about cause I needed some new ones. One is a skin peel and the other purifies your face.

I also got some super cute jewelry. A copper colored ring that says LOVE in cursive [it barely fit my finger!]. The necklace is from Forever 21. It is just a cute, dainty necklace with a sparkly flower and I have been wanting some dainty necklaces for a long time.

So I got some gift-cards [Sephora, iTunes, Forever 21, Tillys] and I can't wait to use them and do some shopping. 

I also got the Lorac Pro 1 eyeshadow palette. I have been wanting this for a while and I finally got it and was really excited. The eyeshadow colors are neutral and are very pigmented. 

And now time for the big present from my mom:

T-SWIZZLE 1989 CONCERT TICKETS!!!! I was super excited when I got them and have been a huge fan for a couple of years. I can't wait to go back and see Taylor Swift [the queen] perform.
